Your Child’s First Visit
We try to make your child’s first dental visit fun and easy. We want your child to begin getting accustomed to visiting our office. Dental visits are a source of fear for so many children and adults. Creating a great first experience may do your child a service that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Every child is different and each appointment is geared specifically toward each child. This appointment gives us an opportunity to evaluate your child’s dental needs. If necessary, we will make a referral to a pediatric dentist.
Here are some tips for the first dental visit:
- Speak positively about going to the dentist.
- Read books about going to the dentist.
- Never use words with a negative image like, “hurt”, “shot” or “drill
